Land

Land is the foundation on which we build our lives and culture. By assessing these elements, areas which are unique, valuable and important to the people can be identified to be preserved. The key to developing and maintaining land in Kingsclear is to ensure its sustainability for future generations.

About

Kingsclear First Nation is a Maliseet community located approximately 14 kilometres west of the the City of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. It has a land base of 374.7 hectares. Kingsclear also owns 2 parcels of land in Kennebecasis Bay called the Brothers Islands, located along the shores of the St. John River (or Wulastuk, as the Maliseet called it for generations).
